When is a deluxe unit the wrong choice?

A deluxe flushing unit is the wrong choice for crowds over 150 guests on a single unit, for 10-hour festivals without a refill, and for guests who need wheelchair access. Each unit holds about 55 flushes. For big or long events, cluster several deluxe units with an accessible unit and a hand wash station, or move up to a restroom trailer with hot water and heat.

How much does a flushing porta potty cost in Bethlehem?

A deluxe flushing porta potty costs $325 for a weekend event (Friday to Monday, delivery and pickup included within 15 miles) or $265 per 28-day cycle plus a one-time $65 delivery and pickup fee, with weekly service and water refill included. Pennsylvania sales tax of 6% applies. A mid-event refresh (pump, wipe, refill) is $35 per unit.

The deluxe unit usually costs less than a standard unit plus a separate hand wash station, because it saves a second piece of equipment and a second delivery slot. See the pricing guide for the full fee table.

Deluxe flushing unit questions

What is the difference between a deluxe porta potty and a standard one?

The deluxe PJN3 Fresh Flush adds a foot-pump flushing bowl, a fresh-water sink with soap and paper towels, and a white, non-jobsite look. The standard PJN3 has a non-flush seat over the tank and hand sanitizer. Both are the same 43.5 by 47 inch footprint.

How many flushes does the deluxe unit hold?

About 50 to 60 flushes per fresh-water fill, plus roughly 250 hand washes from the sink reservoir. For a 100-guest wedding we deliver two deluxe units so neither runs dry, or we schedule a mid-event water refill for $35.

Does the sink have running water?

The sink is fed by a foot pump from a fresh-water tank, so there is no hose or power connection. Gray water from the sink drains into the toilet tank and becomes the flush water, which is why the unit stays self-contained.

Can I rent the deluxe flushing unit for a construction site?

Site superintendents often put one near the office trailer for visiting owners and inspectors while the crew uses standard units. The 28-day price is $265 plus delivery, with weekly service and a water refill included.

Is the deluxe unit wheelchair accessible?

No. The door and floor are the same size as the standard unit. For a guest who uses a wheelchair, add a We'll Care III accessible unit, which has a ground-level floor and a 60-inch turning circle. Public events need accessible units for 5% of each cluster.

Does the deluxe unit freeze in winter?

The flush and sink water can freeze below about 25°F, which Bethlehem reaches most January nights. From December through February we add non-toxic antifreeze to the fresh-water tank and recommend a heated restroom trailer for multi-day winter events such as Christkindlmarkt vendor areas.
