What is included in a long-term porta potty rental?

A long-term porta potty rental in Bethlehem is a 28-day cycle that renews until you call for pickup. The first cycle is $185 for a standard unit plus a one-time $65 delivery and pickup fee; renewals are $165. Weekly service (pump, wash, restock, deodorizer), winter antifreeze from December to February, a log card and free relocation during service visits are all included. Pennsylvania sales tax is 6%.

A six-month standard rental therefore totals $185 + $65 + (5 × $165) = $1,075 before tax, about $5.90 a day for a serviced toilet.

Who rents porta potties for months at a time?

Home builders in Bethlehem Township, Forks and Lower Saucon, roofing and siding contractors with back-to-back jobs, warehouse yards, municipal park departments that need winter units when restrooms close, seasonal campgrounds in the Poconos, and homeowners with a long septic or addition project. Northampton County's Louise W. Moore Park, for example, uses portable toilets from October through April while its restrooms are closed.

How do you keep a long-term unit clean through the seasons?

Weekly service is the baseline year-round. In July and August, when Bethlehem highs average 85°F, we add a second deodorizer charge and recommend twice-weekly service on crews above 10 workers per unit. From December through February we add non-toxic antifreeze to the tank on every visit, and we ask you to keep a plowed path for the service truck after a snow; the Lehigh Valley averages about 33 inches a year.

Long-term rentals: questions before you book

How does the 28-day billing cycle work?

The first cycle starts the day we deliver and includes the unit, weekly service and a one-time $65 delivery and pickup fee. On day 29 a new cycle starts automatically at the renewal rate, $165 for a standard unit. You get an invoice by email each cycle. Call for pickup any day; billing stops the day we pick up.

Why is the renewal cheaper than the first cycle?

Because the first cycle carries the delivery trip and the setup. Renewals are only the unit and weekly service: $165 standard, $240 deluxe, $255 accessible, $75 hand wash station.

Is there a contract for a long-term rental?

You sign a one-page rental agreement covering damage responsibility, site access and billing. There is no term commitment. A six-month build that finishes in four months just ends when you call for pickup.

Can I pause service over the winter shutdown?

For a site closed between December 15 and January 15 we can skip service and bill the cycle at half rate, or pick up the unit and redeliver in January for one $65 fee. Say which you prefer before the shutdown.

Can you move the unit as the job progresses?

At no charge during a scheduled service visit if the new spot is within 100 feet and our truck can reach it. A dedicated relocation trip is $45.

Do you offer a discount for multiple units or multiple sites?

Five or more units on one account get a volume rate on the quote, and multi-site builders get one consolidated 28-day invoice with the service log for every site attached.
