Rental Terms and Cancellation Policy
The one-page agreement every renter signs, written out in full. Payment, renewal, cancellation, placement, damage, servicing and pickup terms for Martin Rental Works.
Calls answered live during business hours. Quote requests get a callback within 30 minutes, Mon–Sat 7 AM–7 PM.
How does payment work?
Event and short-term rentals are paid in full by card at booking and charged on the delivery date. 28-day rentals pay the first cycle plus the one-time $65 delivery and pickup fee at booking; each renewal is charged on day 29 to the card on file. Commercial accounts may move to net-15 invoicing after the first paid cycle. PA sales tax of 6% applies unless an exemption certificate is on file.
Declined renewal payments pause service after 5 days and trigger pickup after 10 days; balances remain due.
How does renewal and pickup work on 28-day rentals?
Each 28-day cycle renews automatically at the renewal rate until you request pickup by phone, text or email by 3 PM. We remove the unit within two business days and billing stops on the pickup date. We do not pick up automatically at the end of a cycle, and we do not prorate partial cycles. Extensions never incur a second delivery fee.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel by 3 PM on the business day before delivery for a full refund, including weather cancellations. Cancellations after the truck is loaded, and no-access failures at delivery, are charged the $65 delivery fee. Restroom trailer bookings cancelled within 14 days of the event forfeit 25% of the trailer rate because the date was held. Refunds post to the original card within 5 business days.
What are the placement and access terms?
You choose the spot and confirm it is on property you control, on firm level ground within 25 feet of truck access, clear of overhead lines, off public streets and sidewalks unless permitted, and not over a septic field. You provide gate codes or unlocked access on delivery, service and pickup days. We are not responsible for ruts or marks on lawns, pavers or driveways from normal delivery and service on the route you approved.
Who is responsible for damage, theft or misuse?
You are responsible for the unit from delivery to pickup, including tip-overs, vandalism, graffiti, fire, theft and foreign material in the tank, up to the repair cost or replacement value (PJN3 $1,100; We'll Care III $2,400; Bravo $900; trailer per quote). Report incidents the same day; we reset or swap units promptly. Stakes, a hasp and padlock are provided free on request to reduce the risk. Disposal of construction debris, chemicals or paint from a tank is charged at cost.
What does servicing include and what if we cannot reach the unit?
Weekly service on 28-day rentals includes pumping, pressure washing, restocking two tissue rolls and sanitizer, deodorizer and a log entry. If the unit cannot be reached (locked gate, blocked path, unplowed snow) we return on the next route day at no charge and note the missed visit. Repeated inaccessibility may result in relocation of the unit to an accessible spot on the property. Additional service visits and relocations by dedicated trip are charged per the pricing guide.
Anything else?
Units are for human waste and the supplied paper only. Rentals are non-transferable and units may not be moved by vehicle or towed. We may suspend service for unsafe site conditions. Prices quoted are valid for 14 days. These terms, the quote and the confirmation form the whole agreement and are governed by Pennsylvania law in Northampton County.
